  • The Insurance Commissioner shall have the sole and exclusive authority to regulate the issuance and sale of variable life insurance.

HOW IS CO-OWNERSHIP TERMINATED?


  • There is co-ownership whenever the ownership of an undivided thing or right belongs to different persons.

  • No co-owner shall be obliged to remain in the co-ownership. Each co-owner may demand at any time the partition of the thing owned in common, insofar as his share is concerned.

  • Co-heirs or co-owners cannot acquire by acquisitive prescription the share of the other co-heirs or co-owners absent a clear repudiation of the co-ownership.

WHAT IS THE RULE ON PAYMENT OF OVERTIME WORK?


  • It is thus the additional work, labor or service employed and the adverse effects just mentioned of his longer stay in his place of work that justify and is the real reason for the extra compensation that he called overtime pay.

  • Workers who are paid by results are not entitled to receive overtime pay.

  • To be entitled to overtime, entitlement to overtime pay must first be established and said overtime work was actually performed.
