The “National Building Management Industry Week” is observed every third week of September by virtue of Proclamation No. 12, series of 1998. During this week, trade professionals are lauded for their role in advancing the innovation, development, and management of buildings and facilities in the country.
Proclamation No. 12, signed on September 4, 1998 by then President Joseph Ejercito Estrada, declared that the third week of September shall be celebrated as the “National Building Management Industry Week”, where trade professionals are lauded for their role in advancing the innovation, development, and management of buildings and facilities in the Philippines.
The country celebrates the National Building Management Industry Week in recognition of the work of the Philippine Association of Building Administrators, Inc. (PABA) in promoting professionalism in the country’s building management industry sector. Verily, under Proclamation No. 12, the National Building Management Industry Week closely coincides with the PABA’s observance of its foundation anniversary.
This year marks the 26th celebration of National Building Management Industry Week in the Philippines.
